Look what happened in Sri Lanka when they ill advisedly dropped artificial fertilizer overnight without adequate offsetting measures, a 20% reduction on crop yields that has left 80-90% of the population missing meals.

The past two months have seen a barrage of negative news coverage focusing on the US housing market...

... which is predictable: after all, with mortgage rates soaring at the fastest pace on record to decade highs, and sending US housing affordability to the lowest in history...

... only a handful of the “1%” can afford the American Dream.

Alas, it also means that just like in 2007, a housing crash is now just a matter of time.

That much is known. What is also know, is that once housing craters, the largest US residential and commercial landlord - private equity giant Blackstone - is about to get even bigger. That’s when it will deploy some (or all) of the record $50 billion in dry powder it has raised to prepare for just the coming housing crash.

According to the WSJ, Blackstone is the final stages of raising a new real-estate fund that would set a record as the biggest vehicle of its kind, defying market volatility and a crowded landscape for fundraising.

The private-equity giant said in a regulatory filing Wednesday it has closed on commitments totaling $24.1 billion for Blackstone Real Estate Partners X, the latest iteration of its main real-estate fund.

According to the WSJ, Blackstone is committing about $300 million of its own capital and has allocated an additional $5.9 billion to investors, which will bring the fund to $30.3 billion when it is finalized. The firm raised the fund, expected to be the largest traditional private-equity vehicle in history, in just three months.

It won’t be just Blackstone that goes bottom fishing in a few months: a slew of private-equity funds are in the market this year, with many trying to raise huge sums even after stocks fell and deal-making dried up. The surge in requests for new cash has overwhelmed investment teams at institutions such as pension funds and endowments and has meant many have delayed making commitments to all but the top managers.

Legendary financial and geopolitical cycle analyst Martin Armstrong says the time to prepare is now for what is coming in 2023.

(Tom: If the Power Elite have told us what they are planning, even written books about it, the pundits are predicting it and the preliminary evidence is manifest, and we do insufficient to prevent it or at least mitigate the effects of it on us personally, who is to blame?)

Bud: ’Well because you’re unvaccinated.’

Lou: ’But I’m not sick.’

Bud: ’It doesn’t matter.’

Lou: ’Well, why does that guy get to go in?’

Bud: ’Because he’s vaccinated.’

Lou: ’But he’s sick!’

Bud: ’It’s alright. Everyone in here is vaccinated.’

Lou: ’Wait a minute. Are you saying everyone in there is vaccinated?’

Bud: ’Yes.’

Lou: ’So then why can’t I go in there if everyone is vaccinated?’

Bud: ’Because you’ll make them sick.’

Lou: ’How will I make them sick if I’m NOT sick and they’re vaccinated.’

Bud: ’Because you’re unvaccinated.’

Lou: ’But they’re vaccinated.’

Bud: ’But they can still get sick.’

Lou: ’So what the heck does the vaccine do?’

Bud: ’It vaccinates.’

Lou: ’So vaccinated people can’t spread covid?’

Bud: ’Oh no. They can spread covid just as easily as an unvaccinated person.’

Lou: ’I don’t even know what I’m saying anymore. Look. I’m not sick.

Bud: ’Ok.’

Lou: ’And the guy you let in IS sick.’

Bud: ’That’s right.’

Lou: ’And everybody in there can still get sick even though they’re vaccinated.’

Bud: ’Certainly.’

Lou: ’So why can’t I go in again?’

Bud: ’Because you’re unvaccinated.’

Lou: ’I’m not asking who’s vaccinated or not!’

Bud: ’I’m just telling you how it is.’

Lou: ’Nevermind. I’ll just put on my mask.’

Bud: ’That’s fine.’

Lou: ’Now I can go in?’

Bud: ’Absolutely not!’

Lou: ’But I have a mask!’

Bud: ’Doesn’t matter.’

Lou: ’I was able to come in here yesterday with a mask.’

Bud: ’I know.’

Lou: So why can’t I come in here today with a mask? ….If you say ’because I’m unvaccinated’ again, I’ll break your arm.’

Bud: ’Take it easy buddy.’

Lou: ’So the mask is no good anymore.’

Bud: ’No, it’s still good.’

Lou: ’But I can’t come in?’

Bud: ’Correct.’

Lou: ’Why not?’

Bud: ’Because you’re unvaccinated.’

Lou: ’But the mask prevents the germs from getting out.’

Bud: ’Yes, but people can still catch your germs.’

Lou: ’But they’re all vaccinated.’

Bud: ’Yes, but they can still get sick.’

Lou: ’But I’m not sick!!’

Bud: ’You can still get them sick.’

Lou: ’So then masks don’t work!’

Bud: ’Masks work quite well.’

Lou: ’So how in the world can I get vaccinated people sick if I’m not sick and masks work?’

Bud: ’Third base.’

Crows are smart. You need look no further than this incredible video of a crow taking a test. That’s right — A test.

So whenever a news item, article, meme, picture or conversation tempts to or leaves you feeling less rather than more affinity for a group of people, recognize that it will also result in you being less in communication with that group, less able to influence them in a positive direction.

It has reduced your cause level.

And who most wants to reduce your cause level?

Those who most want to control you.

Those who would restrict your freedoms wish you no good!

Not if the people can help it! In all of history every police state has disappeared for the simple reason that you cannot govern without the consent of the people. As soon as the people withhold their consent they are ungovernable. So you have to get agreement from the people in order to lead successfully.

Quite simply, no agreement, no government.

My sensibilities are continually assaulted by the huge disparity between the existing scene and what I hold to be an ideal scene for society.

And if it is true that we get that on which we put our attention, then I better start putting my (and a lot of other people’s as this reality is created by agreement) attention on what it is we consider desirable!

The Purpose of a Government:

To provide a peaceful, secure operating and living environment for our citizens and neighbours to be free from oppression so they can flourish and prosper.

To provide a clean, unpolluted environment (land, air, water and sea) that supports and encourages abundant plant, animal, bird and human life.

The Product of a Government:

A safe environment, secure internally and from exterior threat where the population are free to pursue constructive goals without oppression.

Abundant highly arable land sufficient to accommodate our present and future food needs and provide excess with which we can help less fortunate neighbours in times of famine or crisis.

Fresh, clean, unpolluted water in abundance of our present and future needs.

A healthy, ethical, educated population, competent in communication, coexistence, logic and problem solving and broadly and extensively skilled in their chosen endeavour.

As you can readily see, the governments that we have must be working on other purposes and products or there must be huge opposition to the attainment of the above, or both, as we do not have what most would think desirable.

I consider that we need to be continually putting the attention of the government on the above (or a better version of it) and start holding the members accountable for the non-attainment of the proper product of government!

Letting rioters and looters destroy property and harm or kill people is the exact opposite of proper government and any governor, mayor or police chief who lets this happen on their watch should be summarily dismissed with no pension and charged with treason on their post.
