App removes wandering people from photos

it’s normal to see other people milling about in public places, when we take photos of those places, we often don’t want any of those people in our pictures. Ordinarily, this means standing around and waiting, then blasting off a shot in the split second when no one is within your frame – except perhaps the person you’re taking a photo of. Swedish photography company Scalado, however, has now developed an alternative for use with mobile devices. It’s called Remove, and appropriately enough, it removes those pesky "other people" from your photographs. http://www.gizmag.com/remove-app-bystanders-photos/21456/

Sleep Tip From Dr Pepi

In 1910, the average person slept 9.0 hours a night. By 1975, the average person slept 7.5 hours. In a 2002 poll, the National Sleep Foundation found that the average American adult was sleeping 6.9 hours a night, leading to fatigue, exhaustion and other symptoms.

The sleep goal per night is:

  • Infants (up to just about a year old) -- 14 hours of sleep.
  • Toddlers (12 months to 3 years) -- 12 to 14 hours of sleep.
  • Preschoolers (3 to 5 years, even 6 year old kindergarteners) -- 11 to 13 hours of sleep.
  • School-aged kids (1st grade to 5th grade) 10 to 11 hours of sleep.
  • Teens -- 9 hours of sleep.
  • Adults -- 8+ hours of sleep.

In a 10-year study the University of Michigan Health System found a significant connection between a preschooler's lack of sleep and substance abuse. It linked preschooler's bad sleep habits to their use of drug, tobacco or alcohol later in life. Make sufficient sleep a family priority!

Two Quotes

Boosts Your Youth Hormone by 771% in Just 20 Minutes

Human growth hormone is often referred to as "the fitness hormone." The higher your levels of growth hormone, the healthier and stronger you will be. Once you hit the age of 30, you enter what's called "somatopause," at which point your levels of human HGH begin to drop off quite dramatically. This decline of HGH is part of what drives your aging process, so maintaining your HGH levels gets increasingly important with age. http://fitness.mercola.com/sites/fitness/archive/2012/02/10/phil-campbell-interview.aspx

Annual Day of Remembrance

Thursday, February 16th is the 4th Annual Day of Remembrance for those injured or killed by vaccinations. Please pause and remember them on the day and also make it a pledge to join Healthy Lifestyles Naturally (if you haven’t already) to support the work I am doing.

The number of vaccine injured is growing daily. While Australian authorities are in denial about vaccine injury and death, other countries, who have governments who do actually care about their citizens welfare, are starting to take steps to stop some vaccines. The USA Govt Vaccine Damage compensation fund has paid out well over $2 billion for damage done by vaccines and this is just the tip of the iceberg. Once all the autism cases crank up it will be astronomical. More research is confirming the link between autism and vaccines – of course we don’t hear about it in our biased media.

India has now stopped the HPV vaccine. This is the one they like to tout as a preventative for cervical cancer. Reported as the most danger vaccine in history and we are yet to know the full impact as there is speculation from some scientists that this vaccine will cause infertility.

It has already been reported to cause miscarriages.

India has now banned this vaccine and France has suspended it.

Please let all mothers of teenagers know about this.... they may think twice if they realise that they may never be grandparents because of this dangerous vaccine.

There is NO such thing as a safe vaccine – there is a product insert for every vaccine and they all list horrific side effects. Please get the inserts and read them. Drug company definition of safe is very different than the dictionary.

I have updated my story on my website to include photos of my dear departed son www.naturematters.info

On Saturday 18th, I am doing a seminar on vaccinations in Brisbane – we will look at the issue of safety and effectiveness and also what can be done to keep a child’s immune system in good condition... naturally! We will also be talking about your rights and what you can do should vaccination be made compulsory in Australia.

I am also doing one in Wollongong and the Blue Mtns (NSW) in the next few weeks also. Email me at winalite@naturematters.info for details.

With the threat of compulsory vaccination looming it’s time to get very well educated and to help others do the same.

Numbing Medications and Supplements

There are times that you may want numbing medications called anesthesia to really work. This might be true before deep dental drilling or some type of surgery that occurs in a doctor’s office.

When this is the case, do not take any supplements the morning of that numbing. Supplements cause your body to break down or metabolize the drug and make it not work!

After the surgery is over, you want the drug to wear off as quickly as possible. Take supplements such as a balanced Vitamin C or any type of liver-supporting supplement to help move the drug safely out of your body.

As the liver helps your body get rid of drugs, a liver flush decreases the damaging effects of anesthesia. http://www.drpepi.com/health-tips/dental-care-and-mouth-care/numbing-medication-and-supplements/

Monsanto’s Infertility-Linked Roundup Discovered in All Urine Samples Tested

A recent study* conducted by a German university found very high concentrations of Glyphosate, a carcinogenic chemical found in herbicides like Monsanto’s Roundup, in all urine samples tested. The amount of glyphosate found in the urine was staggering, with each sample containing concentrations at 5 to 20-fold the limit established for drinking water. This is just one more piece of evidence that herbicides are, at the very least, being sprayed out of control.

It's not just enough for us to not buy their poison, we need to spread the word to all people quickly, otherwise their contamination will be disastrous for all, plants, animals and mankind. http://wakeup-world.com/2012/01/29/monsanto%E2%80%99s-infertility-linked-roundup-discovered-in-all-urine-samples-tested/

WORLD SURVEY BY PHONE

They say, "Many a true word spoken in jest!" Here's another...

Last month a world-wide telephone survey was conducted by the UN.

The only question asked was:

"Could you please give your honest opinion about solutions to the food shortage in the rest of the world?"

The survey was a massive failure because of the following:

1. In Eastern Europe they didn't know what "honest" meant.

2. In Western Europe they didn't know what "shortage" meant.

3. In Africa they didn't know what "food" meant.

4. In China they didn't know what "opinion" meant.

5. In the Middle East they didn't know what "solution" meant.

6. In South America they didn't know what "please" meant.

7. In the USA they didn't know what "the rest of the world" meant.

8. In Australia they hung up as soon as they heard the Indian accent.

This One Gave Me a Belly Laugh!

A Dr. Epstein was a renowned physician who earned his undergraduate, graduate, and medical degrees in his home town, and then left for Manhattan, where he quickly rose to the top of his field.

Soon, he was invited to deliver a significant paper at a conference, coincidentally held in his home town. He walked on stage and placed his papers on the lectern, but they slid off onto the floor. As he bent over to retrieve them, at precisely the wrong instant, he inadvertently farted. The microphone amplified his mistake resoundingly through the room and reverberated it down the hall! He was quite embarrassed but somehow regained his composure just enough to deliver his paper. He ignored the resounding applause and raced out the stage door, never to be seen in his home town again.

Decades later, when his elderly mother was ill, he returned to visit her. He reserved a hotel room under the name of Brown and arrived under cover of darkness.

The desk clerk asked him, "Is this your first visit to our city, Mr. Brown?"

Dr. Epstein replied, "Well, young man, no, it isn't. I grew up here and received my education here, but then I moved away."

"Why haven't you visited?" asked the desk clerk.

"Actually, I did visit once, many years ago; but an embarrassing thing happened, and since then, I've been too ashamed to return."

The clerk consoled him. "Sir, while I don't have your life experience, one thing I have learned is that often what seems embarrassing to me isn't even remembered by others. I'll bet that's true of your incident, too."

Dr. Epstein replied, "Son, I doubt that's the case with my incident."

"Was it a long time ago?"

"Yes, many years."

The clerk asked, "Was it before or after the Epstein Fart”

You and The Banks

It's interesting how things happen. A few days ago I received the below message about what to do to stand against the bank rip offs and not be part of their game. Then today I see on Facebook an ad asking for people to protest the fact that Westpac have just declared their highest ever profit but are crying poor, as well they should with their off-balance-sheet exposure to worthless derivatives and the fact that the government guarantee runs out so the next lot of borrowing without the government guarantee securing it will cost them double the interest that the last lot did.

The following is a strategy laid out by an financial insider who laid out a simple approach that any single person could apply in order to hit back at all the criminal financial activities that we are forced to put up with by using the financial system against them.

Sounds good.....ehhh!

Besides, the obvious, of just moving your money entirely out of the BIG FAT CAT BANKS, into the smaller communal banks, credit unions or similar bank.

This alone sends them a message, but if you have:

A Personal Loan
A home loan
Credit Card
Line of Credit
Car, boat or bike loan etc, etc.

Then there is a simple method of not only hitting the banks where it hurts them the most, their back pockets, but you can save yourself a bunch of money in the process.

Simply put, if each and every person reading this, decided to transfer all their existing loans and credit cards over to a smaller bank or union, such as the local Credit Union and in the process, negotiating a better long term rate with the new bank as most of these banks and credit unions actually want your business and to work with you, then you have not only taken action that will ultimately hurt the big guys, but will benefit you, your family, your local community and the personnel who work at these banks that actually give a crap about their customers.

No BULL.

It actually gets much better for those who have credit cards and are paying the exorbitant interest rates being charged by the BIG BANKS.

The opportunity to discuss a personal loan or some similar loan with the smaller bank is not only welcomed, but with the current campaigns and sentiment against the larger profit driven banks, would play an advantage to you, as once again. The smaller banking institutions are only too eager to get NEW business and are prepared to bend over backwards to get it.

As long as you are able to sit down and speak with the right person at the new bank, and explain to them your discontent with your current financial relationships with the BIG BANKS, and that you are willing to do what it takes to move your business over to XYZ, and in return for doing so, expect to receive better rates and real customer care with REAL service.

LET's TAKE A CLOSER LOOK:

Current Loans with your bank:

2 x Credit Cards = $15,000.00
Personal Loan = $25,000.00
Car Loan =$10,000.00
Total in loans =$50,000.00

Average Interest rate being paid = 14% or $7,000.00.

Same loans, at a better average interest rate of 12% would see an EXTRA $1,000.00 STAY in your pockets. Work out a better consolidation plan with your new friend at the local bank, and see even higher amounts of CASH stay with you and your family.

For example, roll all your debts into a credit line against your mortgage, and pay only 5,6 or 7 % in interest rates. It really doesn't take a rocket scientist to see the savings you are going to make.

Sure. It is going to take time, and it's going to be a pain in the back side, but, isn't that worth sticking to these FAT CATS!

And sticking to them with the only vote that truly matters at the end of the day--by just walking yourself and your money right out of their banks.

And done right, with an overall reduction of interest being paid on your outstanding liabilities, you should see more of your money staying where it truly belongs....in your pockets.

Best of luck. Oh yeah...please help to spread this message to as many of your friends, family and associates.

There has never been a better time, to help the little people hit back at these TOO BIG to FAIL BANKS, and help end the financial crimes being perpetrated upon us all.

For all those under dogs around the globe.

Every Day You Are Alive Is A Special Occasion

A Story To Live By By Ann Wells (Los Angeles Times) September 7, 1999

My brother-in-law opened the bottom drawer of my sister's bureau and lifted out a tissue-wrapped package. "This," he said, "is not a slip. This is lingerie." He discarded the tissue and handed me the slip. It was exquisite; silk, handmade and trimmed with a cobweb of lace. The price tag with an astronomical figure on it was still attached. "Jan bought this the first time we went to New York, at least 8 or 9 years ago. She never wore it. She was saving it for a special occasion.

"Well, I guess this is the occasion." He took the slip from me and put it on the bed with the other clothes we were taking to the mortician. His hands lingered on the soft material for a moment, then he slammed the drawer shut and turned to me. "Don't ever save anything for a special occasion. Every day you're alive is a special occasion."

I remembered those words through the funeral and the days that followed when I helped him and my niece attend to all the sad chores that follow an unexpected death. I thought about them on the plane returning to California from the Midwestern town where my sister's family lives. I thought about all the things that she hadn't seen or heard or done. I thought about the things that she had done without realizing that they were special. I'm still thinking about his words, and they've changed my life. I'm reading more and dusting less. I'm sitting on the deck and admiring the view without fussing about the weeds in the garden. I'm spending more time with my family and friends and less time in committee meetings.

Whenever possible, life should be a pattern of experience to savour, not endure. I'm trying to recognize these moments now and cherish them. I'm not "saving" anything; we use our good china and crystal for every special event such as losing a pound, getting the sink unstopped, the first camellia blossom. I wear my good blazer to the market if I like it. My theory is if I look prosperous, I can shell out $28.49 for one small bag of groceries without wincing. I'm not saving my good perfume for special parties; clerks in hardware stores and tellers in banks have noses that function as well as my partygoing friends. "Someday" and "one of these days" are losing their grip on my vocabulary. If it's worth seeing or hearing or doing, I want to see and hear and do it now.

I'm not sure what my sister would've done had she known that she wouldn't be here for the tomorrow we all take for granted. I think she would have called family members and a few close friends. She might have called a few former friends to apologize and mend fences or past squabbles. I like to think she would have gone out for a Chinese dinner, her favorite food. I'm guessing - I'll never know. It's those little things left undone that would make me angry if I knew that my hours were limited. Angry because I put off seeing good friends whom I was going to get in touch with - someday. Angry because I hadn't written certain letters that I intended to write - one of these days. Angry and sorry that I didn't tell my husband and daughter often enough how much I truly love them. I'm trying very hard not to put off, hold back, or save anything that would add laughter and luster to our lives. And every morning when I open my eyes, I tell myself that it is special. Every day, every minute, every breath truly is... a gift from God.
