G’day,

Hope you are fit and well!

Here is your weekly dose of whatever you care to take from it from me! Enjoy!

It's a potted Madden!

It's a potted Madden!

Very rare, difficult and time-consuming to grow from seed, take a long time to mature and much careful watering and feeding, hugely expensive until fully grown and even than can require maintenance and upkeep.

Do not acquire one of these with careful thought and planning for they are a lifelong commitment, bring much comfort, joy and happiness and the occasional tear. They can be very educational in their own way too.

The key point with one of these is they will reward your every effort to help them grow tall, straight and strong. You might have to learn a lot to help them as much as they need it, but it will be well worth it for both of you!

Having played a small part in raising three similar varieties and knowing the rest of the garden he shares, I predict a strong future for this one.

Life Is Not Fair

Life Is Not Fair

This is the truth! In your own universe you can create a fair, just, peaceful place.

But this is a force universe and we live on a planet presided over by greedy, self-serving destructive individuals that have deliberately lowered the intelligence and survival potential of the populace.

We have a lot of work to do to raise the awareness level and survival potential of the individual and thus the peoples of Earth.

Let’s get more active along that line. Before it is too late!

Court Removes Gag Order from Swiss Scientist on Microwaved Food

Hans Hertel is the first scientist to conceive of and carry out a quality study on the effects of microwaved nutrients on the blood and physiology of human beings. This small but well-controlled study pointed the firm finger at a degenerative force of microwave ovens and the food produced in them. The conclusion was clear: microwave cooking changed the nutrients so that changes took place in the participants' blood; these were not healthy changes but were changes that could cause deterioration in the human systems. Working with Bernard H. Blanc of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology and the University Institute for Biochemistry, Hertel not only conceived of the study and carried it out, he was one of eight participants. In 1991 Hans Ulrich Hertel and a Lausanne University professor published a research paper indicating that food cooked in microwave ovens could pose a greater risk to health than food cooked by conventional means.

Yup, those who do not know their history are condemned to repeat it. Those who do know their history are condemned to watch others repeat it. We need to change this cycle!

They are like robber barons who set up shop/castle/capital and demand tithes to protect you from a fellow robber baron with whom they are secretly in collusion to make the environment seem dangerous so we need to be protected. It’s all a scam. You have no quarrel with the rug maker in Iran, the rice grower in Vietnam, the farmer in Russia or the rancher in Argentina.

Tool Claims To Show Google Search Bias

The commenter Yo_its_Me is on the right track. The key issue is not whether or not they can or should do it. The key issue is deception versus accuracy in the adherence to their published definition and public’s understanding of “Search Results”.

If millions if not billions of people believe that Google’s search results are organic, then they should be just that. If the public see an ad and recognise it as an ad. no problem.

If the public see a link to a promoted page and recognise it as a link to a promoted page, again, no problem.

Its when Google elevate a link to a page above its natural ranking and the users cannot obviously see that is the case is where I question the integrity of the process.

I know many people do not even recognise the paid ads at the top of the organic search results as ads.

Until next time,
dream big dreams,
plan out how to achieve them,
be continually executing your plans,
enlist people to your causes,
travel and/or read widely, preferably both,
all the while observing what you observe
rather than thinking what you are told to think,
think well of your fellow man,
take time to help your fellow man,
he sorely needs it and it will help you too,
eat food that is good for your body,
exercise your body,
take time to destress,
and do the important things
that make a difference -
they are rarely the urgent ones!

Tom
