Health Australia Party policy on EMR

Posted on May 15, 2019 by Stop Smart Meters Australia
SSMA and its members have approached a number of political parties in an effort to secure policies that reduce public exposure to the harmful effects of electromagnetic radiation (EMR).

It seems that for the forthcoming Federal election on 18th May, the Health Australia Party (HAP) is the only party to have a policy on EMR – and a very good one at that!

If you haven’t yet cast your vote, you might like to review the HAP’s EMR Pollution policy. This is articulated in code 3.3.1 of the HAP Full Policies document available on this webpage https://www.healthaustraliaparty.com.au/about/policies/.

The current version of the policy states that:

“The HAP supports the following initiatives which are needed due to the changing electromagnetic environment in which we live.

(a) Adopting the precautionary approach regarding exposure to electromagnetic fields;

(b) Designing, building and wiring buildings so as to reduce exposure to electromagnetic fields;

(c) Requiring new radiation-emitting technologies, including 5G, to be demonstrated to be safe for all members of society before their introduction to the market/rollout across Australia;

(d) Requiring the Australian standard for radiation protection (RPS3) to be updated to accommodate new research showing harmful biological effects of non-heating levels of exposure;

(e) Requiring an Australian standard for power frequency electromagnetic fields that reduces public exposure to the 4 mG associated with the doubling of childhood leukemia and classified as a Class 2B carcinogen (current exposure level is 2000 mG);

(f) Requiring all radiation-emitting devices to carry the notice: ’This device emits radiofrequency radiation. Use with caution’;

(g) Requiring all research be undertaken by independent researchers;

(h) A public education campaign informing people about safer technology use.”

The HAP also released an ’Official Statement on Electromagnetic Radiation & 5G’ on 27th April 2019. The link for the document is: https://www.healthaustraliaparty.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/HAP-official-statement-on-EMR-April-27-2019.pdf

The Health Australia Party is indeed worthy of your number 1 vote in the Senate.

Major parties resort to extreme measures to protect banks

(This is (one of many reasons) why we want the major parties out on their ears!)

On 8 May the Senate Economics Legislation Committee released the report of its inquiry into the Banking System Reform (Separation of Banks) Bill 2019, opposing the policy. On 12 May Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced a scheme for first home buyers to purchase a house with only a five per cent deposit. The Labor Party supported the government on both issues. By these actions, as opposed to their rhetoric, the major parties have confirmed that 1) the economy is heading for disaster; and 2) they remain captive to the banks and will therefore sacrifice the livelihoods of the Australian people and economy to protect the banks and prop them up.

This needs to change. Both labor and liberal helped get us to where we have descended. Let’s show them how much we don’t appreciate their efforts and kick them out.

Check out some of the independents!

IMOParty and Health Australia are both solidly pro vaccine choice and anti-compulsory vaccination.

CEC are dead against the criminal bankers and thier parliamentary coconspiritors stealing your bank deposits with bail in legislation.

Liberal Democrats are for more personal freedoms than the majors.

The U.S. has a long history of attempting to influence presidential elections in other countries – it’s done so as many as 81 times between 1946 and 2000, according to a database amassed by political scientist Dov Levin of Carnegie Mellon University.

I was thinking the other day, if "Bait and Switch" is an illegal practice according to the ACCC, shouldn't politicians who do not keep their election promises be held to the same level of accountability?

Every person reading this has used a plastic bottle, many of whom likely used one in the past day or week. Plastic, in the recent decades, has become a staple of convenience and a modern lifestyle. The surge in plastic bottle use has accompanied a desire for bottled water as Asia has modernized its lifestyle.

Several recent reports indicate the dire global situation associated with the world’s plastic use. Two statistics jump out immediately. One, that globally humans buy a million plastic bottles per minute. The second, 91% of all plastic is not recycled. On top of that, it is estimated that over half a trillion plastic bottles will be sold in 2020. This presents an overwhelming challenge in responding to an exponential increase in recyclable yet un-recycled products.

Well, as a society we have certainly got some work to do here, haven’t we? With the election coming up this week the attention is most on Politics Without Principle.

“... government consists of a gang of men exactly like you and me. They have, taking one with another, no special talent for the business of government; they have only a talent for getting and holding office. Their principal device to that end is to search out groups who pant and pine for something they can’t get, and to promise to give it to them. Nine times out of ten that promise is worth nothing. The tenth time it is made good by looting A to satisfy B. In other words, government is a broker in pillage, and every election is a sort of advance auction sale of stolen goods.” ~ H.L. Mencken

Politicians

THIS is why we need to elect representatives of the people rather than Political Parties and their campaign donors!

Both Labor and LNP as well as the Grens can’t be trusted.

Let’s end the two main parties packing. They have landed us in the mess we are in. Clive Palmer wants to give one of the great polluters of the world the go ahead to mine coal and potentially destroy the Great Barrrier Reef. We can do better than Clive!

Adani water plan ticked off within hours despite lack of detail, internal CSIRO emails reveal

Adani_Site

THIS is one of MANY reasons why you do not need a bunch of self-interested Liberal or Labor politicians running this country!

Internal CSIRO correspondence reveals the science agency was pushed to formally accept the Federal Government’s approval of Adani’s water plans in a single afternoon.

Internal CSIRO correspondence explicitly shows the agency went out of its way to avoid giving any categorical scientific advice on Adani’s plans.

A letter from the CSIRO to the environmental department noted other concerns were yet to be addressed.

The emails obtained by the ABC also show how rushed the CSIRO was to provide its “formal assent“ to the department.

Despite the Government saying Australia’s top science agencies “confirmed“ Adani’s water plans had “met strict scientific requirements“, the emails show CSIRO was determined not to give a “categoric“ response.

The correspondence obtained by the ABC through freedom of information laws exposes further discrepancies between what the Government said about the assessment of Adani’s environmental plans, and what actually occurred.

The newly uncovered emails follow hand-written notes from Geoscience Australia, obtained by the ABC in April, showing Adani refused to accept several of its recommendations, counter to what the Government said at the time.

Loving this result! Couldn’t happen to a better target.

Bayer’s stock price hit an almost seven-year low Tuesday, in the wake of a third U.S. jury verdict that found its Roundup weedkiller to be a cause of people’s cancer.

A Californian jury said Monday that Bayer had to pay Alva and Alberta Pilliod, both of whom had used the herbicide that Bayer acquired via Monsanto last year, $2 billion in punitive damages and $55 million in compensatory damages. The Pilliods both have non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

The level of punitive damages may be reduced on appeal, but right now it’s the eighth-biggest product-defect jury award in U.S. history.

Until next time,
dream big dreams,
plan out how to achieve them,
be continually executing your plans,
enlist people to your causes,
travel and/or read widely, preferably both,
all the while observing what you observe
rather than thinking what you are told to think,
think well of your fellow man,
take time to help your fellow man,
he sorely needs it and it will help you too,
eat food that is good for your body,
exercise your body,
take time to destress,
and do the important things
that make a difference -
they are rarely the urgent ones!
