I was only yesterday thinking that the female gender should oust any board member of any sport who wants to let born males compete against females. If that fails, arrange a total boycott of that organization’s events and start a new female only organization.

As guys we have a duty to protect women and refuse to attend, watch, officiate, volunteer for or an any way support the suppression of women in their sports if males are allowed to compete.

If we all did this the insanity would die a rapid and unlamented death.

I’ve been in France for three months now. Their approach to this is simply fantastic. I’d like to share a bit about it.

A very well known supermarket here decided to go cashless. A group of 50 people got together and agreed that they would all do a big shop on the same day. Piling their trolleys to the brim and each person getting to the checkout - the human check out, not the machines - and having everything scanned before bringing cash out.

The staff were absolutely overrun. Their management were in a complete tizz, everyone repeatedly, calmly and in a very organised and polite fashion acting as if they knew nothing. No edges, no rudeness, no humiliation.

The supermarket reinstated cash.

Petrol stations: filling up with fuel then only having cash to pay.

Restaurants: groups of friends going out for dinner and nobody taking phones or credit cards, only cash.

They are doing it in every single area of France. Simply refusing to be part of it.

The reason it works is because it’s organised in large groups. One person here and another there doesn’t work. It needs to be really carefully constructed.

Here’s what we’ve learned from the latest report – and some advice on what to look out for in the year ahead.

IMHO the best strategies to avoid the worst of what is to come are to divest debt and kluge, upskill (especially in animal husbandry and food cropping, people and organisational skills), stock up on food and readily exchangeable goods, and, if practicable, more away from heavily populated areas to one with like-minded people.)

FOI delays outside the statutory 30-day period have doubled in the past 10 years, according to new research by the Centre for Public Integrity.

As well as systemic delays, the research finds that FOI refusals have increased 50%, while requests granted in full have fallen 30%.

The research finds:

FOI requests responded to outside the statutory 30-day period have increased from 11.5% in 2011-12 to 22.5% in 2021-22.
FOI requests over 90 days late have increased over 10-fold, from 1.3% in 2011 to 12.4% in 2021.
The percentage of FOI requests refused completely has increased 52% from 11.5% in 2011-12 to 17.7% in 2020-21.
The percentage of FOI requests granted in full has fallen 30 per cent from 59.1% in 2011-12 to 41.1% in 2020-21. 

Bret Walker SC, one of the country’s leading barristers, said “Without knowing about what government is doing, the idea of democracy is defeated.”

“The desire for secrecy has gone way beyond acceptable limits on the part of governments in this country. The supposed benefits of freedom of information legislation have nearly been destroyed by recalcitrant administrators and counterproductive exemptions,” said Mr Walker.

“The public has a right to know information pertaining to public administration,” said Geoffrey Watson SC, a director of the Centre for Public Integrity.

“FOI is an important aspect of our democracy. Without transparency of information, a culture of secrecy and corruption can flourish,” said Mr Watson

“The system is broken. Delays and refusals to give information are on the rise, leaving the public in the dark about important government business. We need to increase staffing and resourcing of the Information Commissioner, and implement sanctions against officers in contempt of the FOI Act,” said Mr Watson.

“The United Nations has given the (Australian) Federal Government a mandate of ownership for housing, property, farms and businesses to government control once the Republic has been proclaimed”.

And what is preventing Australia becoming a republic? The fact that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders are not currently included in the Constitution and are still deemed to be the original owners of the land.

Do you now have some idea why Albanese and Labor want to have Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders written into the Constitution? There is nothing the slightest bit altruistic about it.

It is deceptive and nefarious stuff. It is about the stated aim of Klaus Schwab and the World Economic Forum that “By 2030 you will own nothing and be happy about it”.

I thought to ask the question of ChatGPT. This is what I asked and this is what it answered.

However, their logic is not accurate, as it ignores significant evidence that supports the idea that the earth is a sphere.

c) In reality, flat earthers’ logic and application of the basic principle of empirical observation are deeply flawed.

Firstly, the fact that the horizon appears flat to the naked eye is not evidence that the earth is flat. It is actually due to the limitations of our perception and the relatively small size of the earth compared to the vast expanse of the universe.

Secondly, there is plenty of empirical evidence that confirms the curvature of the earth, including photographs from space and measurements of the earth's shadow during a lunar eclipse.

Lastly, while the flat earth model may explain some phenomena, it cannot account for other fundamental aspects of the natural world, such as gravity and the movements of the planets and stars.

Therefore, it can be concluded that the flat earth argument is not based on sound scientific principles and is fundamentally flawed.
