I was just reading along last night and came across this in a book. Everyone knows the question, but finally...this is the answer.

Anthony Burgess was forty when he learned he had a brain tumor that would kill him within a year. He had no money at the time and nothing to bequeath to his soon-to-be widow, Lynne.

Burgess had never been a professional novelist in the past; but he was always aware that he had the talent to be a writer in him. So, just to be able to leave at least the copyrights to his wife, he put a piece of paper in the typewriter and began to write his first novel. It was not even certain that what he had written could be published; but he couldn’t think of anything else to do.

“It was January 1960,” he said, “and according to the diagnosis, I had a winter, a spring, and a summer ahead of me. That year, when the leaves began to fall, I would have died too.” With that speed and haste, Burgess had managed to write five and a half novels before the year was out. E. M. Forster could only write so many in almost an entire lifetime; J. D. Salinger, one of America’s greatest writers, managed to write only half of it in his entire life.

However, Burgess did not die. His cancer first regressed; then it disappeared altogether. In his long and full life as a writer, he produced more than seventy works, most famously A Clockwork Orange. He might not have written even one of these novels had it not been for the death sentence that cancer had inflicted on him.

Most of us are like Anthony Burgess; we hide a great talent waiting for an emergency to emerge from within us.

A useful exercise in self-motivation is to ask yourself what you would do if you were in Anthony Burgess’s place and found out that you would die of cancer within a year… “What would change in my life, how would I live my last year if I had learned that I would only live one more year? ? What exactly would I do? Considering the brevity of life is a useful exercise; it often brings up surprising thoughts in your mind that will reveal your unused talents that have not yet surfaced.

We’ve all come across the images of polar bears drifting on ice floes: emblematic victims of the global warming that’s melting the polar ice caps, symbols of the threat to the earth posed by our ceaseless energy production—above all, the carbon dioxide that factories and automobiles emit. We hear louder and louder demands to impose limits, to change our wasteful ways, so as to save not only the bears but also the planet and ourselves.

In political discourse and in the media, major storms and floods typically get presented as signs of impending doom, accompanied by invocations to the environment and calls to respect Mother Nature. Only catastrophes seem to grab our attention, though, and it’s rarely mentioned that warming would also bring some benefits, such as expanded production of grains in previously frozen regions of Canada and Russia. Nor do we hear that people die more often of cold weather than of hot weather. Isolated voices criticize the alarm over global warming, considering it a pseudoscientific thesis, the true aim of which is to thwart economic modernization and free-market growth and to extend the power of states over individual choices.

Not being a climatologist myself, I’ve always had trouble deciding between these arguments. And then I met Judith Curry at her home in Reno, Nevada. Curry is a true climatologist. She once headed the department of earth and atmospheric sciences at the Georgia Institute of Technology, until she gave up on the academy so that she could express herself independently. “Independence of mind and climatology have become incompatible,” she says. Do you mean that global warming isn’t real? I ask. “There is warming, but we don’t really understand its causes,” she says. “The human factor and carbon dioxide, in particular, contribute to warming, but how much is the subject of intense scientific debate.”

I wrote earlier that Steve Jobs’ real innovation was in finding a firm - Foxconn - that would build a one-million employee concentration camp where it could manufacture and assemble iphones while the one million young workers were living on the brink of starvation. I noted too that Apple was sitting on a cash pile of $150 billion (then increased to $200 billion), but that entire cash pile was stolen from the workers who made Apple’s products. Steve Jobs wanted Apple to be profitable, with a margin of about 40%, but Apple’s profits did not come from designing and selling cool products; they came from the theft of wages from society’s most vulnerable young people who needed a job and a start in life. Even in an internal company report, Apple admitted the “sweatshop“ conditions inside the factories that make and assemble its products, admitting that at least 55 of its 102 factories were making staff work more than 60 hours per week, that only 65% were paying legal minimum wages or statutory benefits and that 24 factories paid nothing near China’s minimum wage. The pressure placed on these young people for higher productivity was truly unconscionable, with dozens of young people committing suicide, a fact which did not escape the attention of either Steve Jobs or Tim Cook but which resulted in no action. A human rights organisation accused Foxconn of having an “inhumane and militant” management, the executives of neither Foxconn nor Apple being available for comment.”

This is the greatest fraud in human history, but nobody has the courage to stand up and tell the following TRUTHS ....

1. 97% of all CO2 in the atmosphere is naturally occurring, nothing to do with what mankind does or does not do.
2. We are living in a period of among the LOWEST CO2 levels in the atmosphere in the history of this planet. Millions of years ago CO2 levels in the atmosphere were up around 4,000+ppm. Since then CO2 levels have steadily declined and today CO2 is only around 415 ppm. Extremely low. If it falls to around or below 210 ppm then all plant life, vegetation, trees etc will start to die. When that happens we all will perish. This is how utterly ludicrous this whole thing is.
3. The hydro-graphic survey station at Fort Dennison, which measures the mean height of the largest body of water on the planet, the Pacific Ocean, tells us of countless times the mean height of the ocean was HIGHER before WWII than in recent times. For example, in 1914 the Pacific Ocean recorded a mean height of 1.11 meters which is HIGHER than it was in 2019 at 1.05 meters. There weren’t any coal fired power stations, 747’s or SUV’s around in 1914!
4. Pacific islands are not sinking, very recent photographic comparisons to US aerial shots taken during WWII clearly show a huge number of islands have actually expanded/increased their surface area ... they have GROWN!!
5. The Arctic has recorded massive ice and snow gains over the last three to four years despite global warming/climate change alarmists telling us the Arctic will be ice free by 2010.
6. In Australia massive increases in electricity costs which will be terrible for everyone, manufacturing and businesses will struggle to survive, many will probably close, base-load power shortages resulting in wide-spread black-outs, massive job losses and a society on its way to serious decline - all of which is in the name of “global warming/climate change” will NOT reduce the earth’s temperature. Nothing we do here in Australia will have the slightest impact on the earth’s temperature. When pushed on the matter by members of Parliament, even the CSIRO’s Chief Scientist admitted it for goodness sake!
7. We know from this planet’s history that in the few times where CO2 has been at elevated levels, the earth’s temperature did NOT rise. We know this as FACT through ice core samples, and ice core samples don’t lie. You can’t change the earth’s history but my bet is there’s plenty of doomer activists who wish they could.
8. Despite being told by doomer climate alarmists the Great Barrier Reef will be 50% gone by 2020 due to climate change, the reef is actually flourishing with fantastic coral growth of recent times.
9. Last year China INCREASED their emissions by roughly the same amount as Australia emits in an ENTIRE YEAR for goodness sake. This means if the whole of Australia vanished off the face of the earth and didn’t exist tomorrow and therefore did not emit a single gram of emissions, nothing would change.
ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WOULD CHANGE.
NOTHING!
10. And let’s not forget there’s not suppose to be any more rainfall and certainly not enough to fill our dams by 2015. Just another LIE.

The truth is every single solitary global warming/climate change prediction has been proved WRONG.
Not one single alarmist claim has been correct and the reason for this is because it is based on complete and utter LIES.

Wake up people and save Australia from this insanity.

People all over the world, wherever you are, I know it’s not easy for you right now... I’m an old man, I’ve been alive a long time and I live with optimism. Appeal to desperate young people.. Trust me.. I read it but I don’t remember where, was it in the Old Testament or was it in Carlos Castaneda’s, about a shaman.. There was a drought - cattle were dying, people were dying.. And the shaman said: “Make ditches.” “Dig rain ditches.” “But there is no rain.” “Dig ditches and the rain will come.” Unbelievers will say this is nonsense .. OK, believe what you want .. This is rational thinking .. But I think rational thinking is not working right now. Irrational, subconscious thinking is needed! When I was little, I dreamed of being what I am now. Maybe I had a vision, I don’t know. I didn’t expect much, but what I dreamed and fantasized happened to me. And now I I believe we can draw the future to us. Whatever you decide to do, believe it! Act as you believe it! This is power! This is absolute power! Agnostic, atheist, anyone ... - whatever.. Just believe!

The World Health Organization and the United Nations are two key players in the agenda for the submission of all of humanity to unprecedented tyranny. Their plans for mankind go far beyond the darkest nightmares of what anyone can even begin to imagine.

Behind their brilliant masks of proclaimed humanitarian goals hides something so nefarious that many fail to believe it. This cannot be. It’s impossible. There is no evil so horrible… is there?

In many previous reports, we have lifted the veil on their agendas for humanity. During the pandemic, we saw glimpses of their intensely dark plans:

By recognizing that the question of NATO enlargement is at the center of this war, we understand why U.S. weaponry will not end this war. Only diplomatic efforts can do that.

Imagine your mind as an empty space, like a house or an apartment. Imagine your thoughts as residents in this space.

Some thoughts are neat and tidy, clean up after themselves, sweep and vacuum the floor, clean the shower, bath and windows, put out the trash and generally contribute to maintaining the standards and improving things.

Let’s call them the Contributors. (One who contributes; one who gives or pays money or anything else of value to a common stock or fund; one who aids in effecting a common purpose.)

Some thoughts are squatters who pay no rent, do no cleaning and leave their trash everywhere. They reduce the standards in your space and are destructive.

Let’s call them the Detractors. (One who detracts, or takes away or injures the good name of another; one who attempts to disparage or belittle the worth or honor of another.)

The interesting thing is that you choose who lives in that space by the thoughts you allow to occupy your mind. What you do each day determines to whom you are opening the door to allow entry.

If you know what your basic purpose is in life, have a goal and each day make a list of the actions that will take you closer to attaining that goal, if you focus on your goal and concentrate on improving all the skills that will speed the accomplishment of your goal then you are populating your mind with Contributors.

If you watch the news, read the papers, get embroiled in arguments with people who cannot see the truth, get distracted by social media, don’t have a goal, don’t set daily targets to accomplish then you are opening the door to the Detractors. You are allowing them to populate your space and trash it.

Now that you know this, make sure to apply it. Fully. And reap the rewards of a better life!
