Some time ago I listened to a fascinating lecture on resisting. What I got from it is that when you resist something you put up a barrier (spiritual, mental, energy or mass) between you and that which you are resisting.

That which you are resisting flows particles at you. Those particles hit the barrier you have created. Particles building up on one side of the barrier create a vacuum on the opposite side of the barrier.

When you resist and fail you get sucked into the vacuum and become that which you were resisting.

That is one mechanism of how people “flip“ from good to bad. They become that which they fought.

So the key is to not resist that which you do not want but to flow energy towards that which you DO want.

Which is why the most aware people will always conclude a presentation by giving you things you CAN do towards creating a more desirable future outcome.

Buckminster Fuller summarised it so well when he said: “You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete.“

OK. That confirms it. Based on that definition it's official. I'm still a big kid.

After I smiled at the humour I thought, “Pretty simple really. Just extrapolate consequences and evaluate.”

I don’t know if that is on the syllabus anywhere these days but based on the number of contenders each year for the Darwin awards, I suspect not.

And when you look at the world stage and see the consequences of the US neocons poking the Russian bear via their installed Ukraine puppet and the billions of wasted dollars and lives being destroyed you realise it is not just immature boys who cannot extrapolate consequences and evaluate the results but also criminals of all ilks.

How Money Corrupts Science

Over time I have observed that the main news stories all seem to conform to a deep state agenda item. Of course the last three+ years have been more blatantly and observably so but even 19th century media critics wrote of it.

Tim Miles commented:

Well have you actually noticed that none of the policies enacted in the name of reducing Carbon Emissions are doing that. They are doing the precise opposite. What slight warming we have seen is due to clearing skies since much tighter rules came in on smoke over the past 3 decades.

Here’s one to discuss. As a farmer I see it is getting colder, not warmer, hyping occasional days of hot weather doesn’t change that. A colder world is a drier world, and its one which will support a lot less people. What if Co2 has a minimal warming effect and we are as predicted 50 years ago in fact heading into an ice age.

If that were the case would you really want to tell several billion people living in Northern latitudes that they are going to starve but cannot stampede South because we cannot all suddenly cram into Southern latitudes where the soil simply hasn’t built up yet.

Ice ages both ended and started quite abruptly in contrast to what the media says. I learnt this reading papers for years in the Science Library as a student.

In 2006 a high school English teacher asked students to write a famous author and ask for advice. Kurt Vonnegut was the only one to respond - and his response is magnificent:

“Dear Xavier High School, and Ms. Lockwood, and Messrs Perin, McFeely, Batten, Maurer and Congiusta:

I thank you for your friendly letters. You sure know how to cheer up a really old geezer (84) in his sunset years. I don’t make public appearances any more because I now resemble nothing so much as an iguana.

What I had to say to you, moreover, would not take long, to wit: Practice any art, music, singing, dancing, acting, drawing, painting, sculpting, poetry, fiction, essays, reportage, no matter how well or badly, not to get money and fame, but to experience becoming, to find out what’s inside you, to make your soul grow.

Seriously! I mean starting right now, do art and do it for the rest of your lives. Draw a funny or nice picture of Ms. Lockwood, and give it to her. Dance home after school, and sing in the shower and on and on. Make a face in your mashed potatoes. Pretend you’re Count Dracula.

Here’s an assignment for tonight, and I hope Ms. Lockwood will flunk you if you don’t do it: Write a six line poem, about anything, but rhymed. No fair tennis without a net. Make it as good as you possibly can. But don’t tell anybody what you’re doing. Don’t show it or recite it to anybody, not even your girlfriend or parents or whatever, or Ms. Lockwood. OK?

Tear it up into teeny-weeny pieces, and discard them into widely separated trash recepticals. You will find that you have already been gloriously rewarded for your poem. You have experienced becoming, learned a lot more about what’s inside you, and you have made your soul grow.
